The pandemic has been especially difficult for San Diego County’s seniors and we remain committed to providing The Gold Standard in home care.
Golden Wishes Home Care is dedicated to ensuring the health and safety of our clients and caregivers. We have made extensive policy and procedural modifications, in accordance with guidance provided by the CDC, Federal, State and Local public health officials, to reduce the risk of exposure to the virus.
Caregivers:
- Daily Covid-19 pre-screening including temperature and symptom check.
- Required infection control measures including PPE, hand sanitizers, hand washing, sanitizing equipment and home environment.
- Assistance with available 24/7 telehealth Doctor and Nursing services.
- Caregiver home start to reduce the risk of cross caregiver spread.
- Required testing and quarantine upon positive symptom check.
Clients and Family:
- Daily Covid-19 pre-screening for clients and their families including temperature and symptom check.
- Required testing and quarantine upon positive symptom check.
- Assistance with available 24/7 telehealth Doctor and Nursing services.
- Stay active, eat healthy and well-balanced meals. Cover your coughs and sneezes. Immediately report any fever, shortness of breath or other symptoms.
- Required infection control measures including PPE, hand sanitizers, hand washing, sanitizing equipment and home environment.
- Maintain 6 feet of distance from people when out in the community, limit visits from younger individuals who may be asymptomatic and can spread the virus.
